The Association of Mothers of abductees called on all Yemenis to observe the Swedish agreement which provides for the release of all those abducted and forcibly hidden from the prisons of the Houthi group.
This came during a protest held by the Association of mothers of abductees Saturday in the city of Taiz.
The Yemeni Mothers Association said in a statement that it was following the conclusion of Swedens consultations between the Yemeni parties and resulted in an agreement to release all the abductees and those who were forcibly disappeared.
The statement stressed that the issue of the abductees is a humanitarian issue they are civilians who were abducted from their homes and their premises and public places without right.
The mothers explained that this agreement did not specify only the release of the abductees. We remind all Yemenis of the rights of the abductees and those who are forcibly hidden and begin to release them return them safely compensate them and rehabilitate them and involve them in construction projects and social peace.
The mothers stressed the need for the Yemeni parties to respect the dignity and freedom of the Yemeni people and to punish the perpetrators of kidnapping torture and murder in prisons and places of detention.
The Yemeni parties in the Swedish consultations agreed to release the abducted Huthis and prisoners in the legitimate government and the exchange of the parties lists of more than 15 abductees and prisoners from both sides.
According to the agreement, the agreement will be implemented within 43 days of signing the agreement.
